so I haven't really posted any traditional works lately, I've kinda been lazy, so I haven't drawn much and what I've drawn I'm just too lazy to scan.

I gots some new headphones...my old earphones broke (left one blew AGAIN *exasperated sigh*) so I went and got some new ones. and *gasp* Skullcandy was amazingly ON SALE...so I bought some $50 headphones of only 33 bucks... and it cost that much cuz I bought a warranty...so if they gets destroyzorzed in an accident I can get another pair for free! ^.^
They're pretty much amazing...the sound is great...

And conveniently enough they match the colour scheme of my mp3..o.0
which is awesome

I got a job at the Stampede...so that should be lots of work, but good pay. I got my cowboy hat and red shirt (oH NO im A REDSHIRT!!! *panics*)

my hat is pretty gangst, but sometime this week I hafta go get some 'black jeans' and I want to find cowboy boots, because I love cowboy boots and just want an excuse to wear them XD

I'm being an usher, and I'm working North Main, so that's pretty cool cuz there's only one flight of stairs to get to work every day, but I'll be walking around ALL the time.

We get like..2 hour dinner breaks...plus our 15-20 minute breaks here n' there
so it's pretty cool
And free admission and discounted stampede food...lol

And I'll actually get to go this year...cuz last year I couldn't...so that is also...pretty dope.

I'm mildly excited.

It is also now summer...which means no school...I'm already sleeping in late...but I'm also getting antsy from not going anywhere XD...I should get out...

blegh...my old journal was...old...nuff' said...XD

Otafest is tommorow! I am so excited! I'm hoping to be able to go all three days! And I'm also hoping to be able to have a pwnage outfit to wear! ^.^


I finished the main body of the stuffy I was making in fashion studies!! So I brought it home this weekend to show some friends...when I take it back on Tuesday (uber long weekend YES ^.^) I will make his clothing and necklace (I found bells in the class!!) I'm so proud of myself...even though he looks slightly scary+demented XD....but still!! I made him out of some old jeans...and this is another sewing project that cost me nothing because all the other materials I got from my teacher!! ^A^ He's so soft and...plushy ^.^

No school for four days!! heh...i'm so excited...I'm totally sleeping in tomorrow morning...


In English we are doing a project on act 4 scene 1 of "The Merchant of Venice" and it was so funny because my friends and I were planning this huge puppet show...but didn't work on it for like..the whole week...and then today we finished it <.<...we modified a song (Behind Blue Eyes - The Who) to fit in with the scene...and it was great cuz we barely had to change anything...but it also sucks cuz I have to sing in front of the class...T.T


I'm very happy because It's now finally nice summer weather...only problem is it's very hot and I keep dying on the bus/c-train...TAT
I'm so excited for summer...because no school...but also not...because some stuffs shall be going down that shall be depressing...<.<
But school is almost over! which is cool...!...I got a report card today...English was my highest mark at 85...I believe...and then my lowest was 60 I think..in like Math or something...
I like English...we haven't even really done much
My teacher is amazing

YAY...I finished my 'Odyssey' comic...and my partner is just now finishing her part...

I handed in my 'mixed media' assignment..and I'm not incredibly impressed with myself...but it doesn't suck magnificently either...*sighs*

We have started our next project..and I am extremely excited for this one because I'm already going to be able to start actually working on it (instead of drawing the base lines) in only 3 classes instead of the usual 5 or 6...<.<
My idea seems to be working so far..and I am quite excited ^.^

I also got my mp3 player back, which is awesomely awesome..so I am syncing my baybeh right now and 'tis quite amazingly awesome...
my music sounds much bettah on the mp3 headphones than on the old ones too..o.0

I downloaded the coolest visualizations for Windows Media Player...they make meh happeh inside...
they use wireframe graphics and respond quite well to the music...theres also alot of different wave patterns, colour schemes, and backgrounds...which is awesome...and I only have the free version...the un-free (yes I speak english XD) version has WAY more...it's insane...

ACK..I deleted it the first time!!
hehe oh welll...

So I submitted a painting to the 'Art for Arts Sake' contest..my first oil painting actually..and I'm crossin' my fingahs...

I looked at a few of the entries though..and wo. there are some really great ones..so...

I was kninda disappointed though, because there were alot of things in the category that seemed to break the rules..and it made meh sad..but what can you do right??


My school is having a 'Gala of The Arts' and I am excited because one of my works is going to be up!!

And the art department is paying for me..so i dun hafta pay..
I think it'll be fun..the culinary arts are making food..and apparently drama, dance, band and choir will be performing too..YAY

I'm quite proud of my current art project..especially considering I had to restart because i spilled india ink over the whole first version..but I wasn't very far done so that's okay. I really like how this one is going so far.

I'm also drawing a comic book for english that is an adaptation of Book 5 of The Odyssey...and I'm really enjoying it...I have to work alot on it because we ran out of time..but the teacher gave us an extension because we are doing a whole chapter instead of just a scene like everyone else.
I'm really proud of myself..like actually..and when it's done and marked I'm going to scan it..
My partner adapted the text and helped designe the characters..and lots of the jokes and style of the characters is due to her ideas ^.^
She's colouring the title page too..it's gonna be great..
We had a test today in english..and i got 4.5 out of 11...hehe..*sweat*
I totally forgot to read the book...hehe

I was totally not used to it this way..
I'm actually not even used to IE, because I normally use Firefox. But for some reason Firefox and DA just do not go together o.0
